AVES, the largest fully integrated oilseed processing and biodiesel facility in Turkey, is situated on a 200-hectare land in Mersin. With a daily capacity of 1,500 tons for crushing, 700 tons for refining, and 1,100 tons for filling, the facility produces 1 million tons of vegetable oil, meal, and biodiesel annually.
Our facility employs state-of-the-art technology to process oilseeds such as soybeans, sunflower seeds, corn, canola, flaxseed, and linseed, all of which boast high protein content. The refinery and filling plants, under the brand SAFYA, handle the filling of sunflower and corn oil, offering a diverse range of liquid oils available in both flexi and bulk formats.
Furthermore, AVES features storage facilities with a capacity of 84,000 cubic meters in silos and 28,000 cubic meters in tanks. Additionally, we have an intelligent rack storage system covering 3,000 square meters, accommodating 8,000 Euro pallets.
With our expert team, AVES sources the most valuable seeds in terms of oil and protein from around the world. These seeds undergo processing in our hygienic and fully automated facilities, resulting in crude oils and meal, which are then sold to both domestic and international oil facilities, adhering to international standards.

Our facility is capable of producing through both direct extraction and press extraction methods. With the ability to simultaneously process two different seeds, our plant features storage silos with a total capacity of 62,400 tons, allowing for the storage of various seeds in 12 different silos simultaneously.
We have a horizontal storage facility with a capacity of 25,000 tons for storing soybean meal. Additionally, for other oilseed meals, we have three horizontal meal storage units, each with a capacity of 3,000 tons (totaling 9,000 tons). The produced meals play a significant role in contributing to the livestock sector in our country.
Since its establishment, our organization has focused on promoting domestic soy production, ensuring that the oil produced is utilized as a raw material for biodiesel. Our commitment to quality is evident in our SAFYA branded sunflower oil, providing the same quality guarantee from the first to the one millionth bottle. AVES has been expanding its market share both domestically and internationally, achieving an export figure of over 121 million USD in the previous year.
Primarily targeting the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Africa regions, AVES conducts sales in over 70 countries. According to TİM (Turkish Exporters’ Assembly) data, we hold the 14th position among the major exporters in our sector. Our continuous growth and commitment to quality position us as a key player in the industry.
